NextCloud 14.0.4 (ReadyNAS OS 6 ARM & x86)

Nextcloud 14.0.4 was released a while ago. Since this version included a lot of changes and requires PHP 7.x to run I had to create a new download item to prevent users from accidentally downloading this version without having PHP 7.2 installed. You can get the new app for your ReadyNAS with ReadyNAS OS 6 (x86 and ARM) here:

Gitea 1.6.0 (ReadyNAS OS 6 x86 / ARM & RAIDiator 4 x86)

Gitea 1.6.0 has been released three days ago so I updated the apps/add-ons for ReadyNAS OS 6 (x86 & ARM) as well as the add-on for ReadyNAS systems still running RAIDiator 4 (x86):

PHP 7.2.10 (RNOS 6 x86 & ARM)

PHP Web Programming Language (Logo)

Since the next releases of OwnCloud and NextCloud will require PHP at least in version 7.0 i set out to bring a newer PHP to the ReadyNAS. I initially aimed for providing all 7.x versions but in the end I settled for just providing the 7.2 series. In my testing all fairly recent PHP apps worked with 7.2 but be warned that your mileage may vary.

So here’s PHP 7.2.10 for the ReadyNAS storage boxes running ReadyNAS OS 6.9.0 or newer on x86 or ARM CPUs:

Gitea 1.5.1 (ReadyNAS OS 6 x86 / ARM & RAIDiator 4 x86)

Gitea 1.5.1 has been released a couple of days ago but I just now came to updating the apps/add-ons for ReadyNAS OS 6 (x86 & ARM) as well as the add-on for ReadyNAS systems still running RAIDiator 4 (x86):

Kernelmodules 6.9.4 (ReadyNAS OS 6 x86)

ReadyNAS OS 6.9.3 again comes with a new kernel – this time it is kernel 4.4.140 and this of course requires new kernel modules. I still stick to using the drivers included with that instead of building from the bleeding edge LinuxTV.org package.
Since NTGR changed the packaging of the GPL sources I wasn’t yet able to build a working kernel module set for the RN2xx ARM based products for firmware 6.9.4.

So here are the links to the latest x86 kernel modules:

Since I can’t test all the different USB drivers included please accept my apologies if the driver for your hardware is included but doesn’t work. In that case please drop me a note and I’ll see what I can do.
