Ok folks, I’m sorry. As it turns out, just adding
git to the package wasn’t enough. Unfortunately the OS on some ReadyNAS boxes is too old to properly recognize some newer SSL certificates. This caused the download of updates to fail at least partially which led to some strange problems with the CouchPotato installation. To fix this I built yet another version of the add-on which now also provides updated root certificates. Releases are available here:
- R6all: CouchPotato 2 v0.5.5
- R4x86: CouchPotato 2 v0.5.5
- R4Sparc: CouchPotato 2 v0.5.5
- R5ARM: CouchPotato 2 v0.5.5
And of course you should be able to find the latest version on your account page.
Sorry for the trouble but on my testing systems the newer certificates were already present so I didn’t see the problem when testing the previous versions released earlier today.
