Wow, I didn’t expect to get so much feedback in such a short time for the Syncthing add-on. ‘fastfwd’ was nice enough to point out that having the default Sync folder on the OS partition wasn’t exactly ideal. So this is now moved to the home dir of the “admin” user which resides on the data partition. While I was on it, I also integrated logging and of course automatic purging of the logs generated by Syncthing. And lastly there have been some updates for the beta yesterday, so there’s a brand new version 0.11.0-beta6 as well:
- Syncthing 0.10.30-2 / 0.11.0-beta6-1 (R6x86)
- Syncthing 0.10.30-2 / 0.11.0-beta6-1 (R6Arm)
- Syncthing 0.10.30-2 / 0.11.0-beta6-1 (R5Arm)
- Syncthing 0.10.30-2 / 0.11.0-beta6-1 (R4x86)
On installation of the new version the original “default” sync folder will be moved automatically. Just install over the previous version of the add-on, don’t uninstall.
