Jenkins is an award-winning application that monitors executions of repeated jobs, such as building a software project or jobs run by cron. In a nutshell Jenkins CI is the leading open-source continuous integration server. Built with Java, it provides over 400 plugins to support building and testing virtually any project.
Please note: On first startup Jenkins will try to update its plugin repository from the Internet. This process may take a couple of minutes (especially on ARM based ReadyNAS systems). During that time you’ll see a message telling you that the system isn’t available or out of resources. Please be patient, this is not a bug.
Important note for Jenkins 2.x: When doing a fresh install or when upgrading from version 1.x Jenkins will now automatically secure the installation if you haven’t done so already. In that case you’ll be prompted for a username and password on your first access to the web interface. The username to use is “admin”, the password can be displayed by pointing your browser to http://ip.of.your.nas/apps/jenkins/InitialPassword.
