Kernelmodules for ReadyNAS OS 6.7.1 (x86)

Just a short note: Since ReadyNAS OS 6.7.1 comes with a new kernel there’s now also a new version of the additional kernel modules that supports an even broader range of USB TV cards. You can get it here:

Please see also the list of supported ReadyNAS OS releases and TV adapters if you plan to use TV Headend.

With the release of ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 NETGEAR again updated the kernel for the ReadyNAS OS, thus requiring new kernel modules for TV cards and other devices. The new modules for ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 (x86) have been included in the kernel modules package and can be found here:

Kernel Modules updated for ReadyNAS OS 6.5.2 (x86)

With the release of ReadyNAS OS 6.5.2 NETGEAR again also updated the kernel for the ReadyNAS OS, thus requiring new kernel modules for TV cards and other devices. The new modules for ReadyNAS OS 6.5.2 (x86) can be found here:

Kernelmodules for ReadyNAS OS 6.5.1 (x86)

As I just learned the hard way NETGEAR updated the kernel with ReadyNAS OS 6.5.1 but didn’t change the kernel version number. The changes weren’t big ones but enough to make the old kernel modules from the 6.5.0 package refuse to load. So I made a new package with again updated drivers. The new kernel modules are available here:

The download includes all kernel module packages I have built for the various ReadyNAS OS 6 releases.

Kernel Modules update for ReadyNAS OS 6.4.1 (R6x86)

With the release of ReadyNAS OS 6.4.1 NETGEAR also updated the Linux Kernel on the ReadyNAS to 4.1.13. This again required me to build new kernel modules for the x86 platform. The good news there is that by now almost all USB TV adapters should be supported. So if you’re using the TV Headend add-on or if you just want to play with your USB TV stick on your ReadyNAS 3xx, 5xx or 7xx be sure to grab the latest version of the kernel modules:
